TIPS FOR DAY BEAUTY SUCCESS
If you do not have a pre-selected stylist during your initial scheduling, we will ask you a variety of questions to place you with a specially selected stylist. At this time, it is recommended that you have an idea of your preferred style. The overall theme of the wedding, colors, length of your hair, and other details will also be helpful.
We recommend that you meet with your stylist at least six months prior to your wedding day to discuss your haircut, color, highlights, shine enhancing gloss, the possibility of hair extensions, and any necessary conditioning treatments that you may need. We can also recommend an esthetician for your skin care needs.
At the pretrial appointment, it is important to bring in pictures of wedding hairstyles you are interested in trying along with a picture of your wedding dress. Your stylist will work with you to design the right hairstyle to compliment your face shape, dress, haircut, and personal style.
All final facial waxing should be done at least three days prior to your wedding day. It is important that you experience the same type of waxing at least twice prior to the day of the wedding. This will ensure that you have no allergies or sensitivities to the wax. Please be aware that medications and menstrual cycles can affect your sensitivity to waxing.
Please come to the hair salon with your hair dry and pliable. Clean or dirty is OK but it should be easy to comb.
Cleanse your face three hours before any makeup services with your normal daily cleanser. Please consult with your esthetician so that all final facial services and exfoliations may be performed appropriately before your wedding day. Like waxing, we recommend that all final skincare treatments be completed at least three days prior to the wedding depending on the type of service.
Remember to drink plenty of water the day before and the day of your wedding! This will ensure a glowing complexion and give you energy throughout the day.
