With almost 20 years of hairstyling experience, Artist Stylist Christine, is a valuable member of the Salon Exquisite team. She has always believed that, first and foremost, consultations are key. As one of Christine’s clients, you can expect a thorough assessment of your hair and the opportunity to discuss any wants or needs for your color, cut, and style at the beginning of each appointment. A look that is customized for your appearance, schedule, and lifestyle will be determined together. Christine is dedicated to continuing her education in order to maintain the technical skills, creativity, and motivation necessary to provide her clients with a thoughtful and up-to-date hairstyle as well as a salon experience like no other.

1. What would you consider your strengths in your career to be?

I consider my strengths in my career to be my consultations and listening to my clients. It's so important to pay attention to what the client is saying and making a connection with the client.

2. What are you most passionate about professionally?

I am most passionate about being part of a team and being a team player. I want to be positive and supportive for the women I work with.

3. What are you most passionate about personally?

I find that that desire for a positive and uplifting environment is something I try to give as well as surround myself with in my personal life, too.

4. Why did you aspire to become a cosmetologist?

Doing hair was something I was always good at and something I always did- whether on my dolls as a small child, on neighborhood girls as I got older, and my mother, sister, and grandmother whenever they’d let me.

5. Use three words to describe your personal style.

Three words which describe my personal style are mostly black (I have to make myself incorporate color!), practical, and frugal.

6. What are three words the other Exquisite Stylists would use to describe your personality?

My coworkers would describe me as no-nonsense, meticulous, and honest.

7. What do you love about Salon Exquisite?

I love working at Salon Exquisite because all our staff is truly a team and we are all truly friends. We genuinely like each other, support each other, and we definitely hang out outside of work. That positive energy can totally be felt within the salon.

8. Name a few of your hobbies other than turning heads.

A few of my hobbies are running/fitness, trying out new healthy recipes, and enjoying unhealthy things like wine, craft beer, and Worcester’s awesome food scene!

9. What problems do you consistently solve for your clients?

When a client is transitioning from or to bangs, I can help them integrate their fringe into their cut so it’s an easier cut/grow-out to get used to.

10. What are you complimented on most in your work?

Clients seem to compliment me on how nicely I’ve blown out their hair. They remark on how smooth, shiny, and full their hair looks after their blow dry.

11. Why do you think Salon Exquisite is so unique?

Salon Exquisite is unique because many of the complaints I hear from people about their salon experiences elsewhere cannot be said about Salon Exquisite. Guests of Salon Exquisite can expect a positive, welcoming atmosphere every time they visit. People can also expect their Exquisite experience to be consistent each time they go. At Salon Exquisite, we love that our clients love us but we also want to make sure our clients know how much we value and appreciate them!

12. You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?

Although if asked what my favorite color is I’d say pink, if I was a new addition to the crayon box I’d have to say I’d be a shade of green. I love all that green represents: life, nature, Christmas, etc. Green is a color I gravitate toward in so many areas of my life.

13. Is there anything else you would like us to know about you?

One exciting piece of info about me is that, in 2020, I will have been a hairdresser for 20 years!
